Our Ecosystem
The Facilities Behind Our Network
Pocket Power doesn't build and operate community hubs alone. A coalition of group companies, climate-finance facilities, and credit institutions stands behind our battery-as-a-service network.
Pocket Power AssetCo is a DREEF cluster company, part of a wider group of asset-owning businesses that deploy distributed energy infrastructure across Nigeria’s underserved communities. The partners below provide the project-preparation support, credit enhancement, and local-currency financing that stand behind our hubs, packs, and expansion across the FCT and Nasarawa State.
FundCo Capital Managers
FundCo Capital Managers Limited is the parent company of the DREEF cluster, overseeing a group of asset-owning businesses that deploy distributed energy and productive-use infrastructure across Nigeria's underserved communities, Pocket Power AssetCo among them.
DREEF
The Distributed Renewable Energy Enhancement Facility Incorporated (DREEF) is a project-preparation facility established by InfraCredit with the World Bank Group, backed also by the Clean Energy Fund (CEF), KfW, and Convergence, with Deloitte serving as Technical Assistance Facility Manager. Pocket Power AssetCo is structured as a DREEF cluster company: DREEF supports the project preparation and de-risking that makes a distributed battery-swap network like ours bankable.
Clean Energy Local Currency Fund (CEF)
The Clean Energy Local Currency Fund is FundCo Capital Managers' regulated climate-infrastructure fund, Climate Bonds Certified and rated BBB by GCR/Agusto. CEF is part of the DREEF backing coalition, providing local-currency, concessional-tenor capital that helps fund distributed energy assets like Pocket Power's battery and hub infrastructure.
InfraCredit
InfraCredit is a specialised infrastructure credit guarantee institution that provides local-currency guarantees to catalyse investment in infrastructure. InfraCredit established the DREEF facility with the World Bank Group, anchoring the ecosystem of project-preparation and credit support that Pocket Power draws on as a DREEF cluster company.
Electrify Microgrid Limited (EML)
Electrify Microgrid Limited develops rural mini-grids across underserved Nigerian communities. As a fellow DREEF cluster company, EML shares the same project-preparation and de-risking support that backs Pocket Power's own battery-as-a-service rollout.
GreenKiosk
GreenKiosk builds rural solar micro-hubs across underserved communities. GreenKiosk's hubs are among the community hubs using Pocket Power's charge-and-swap network for their own operations, alongside their shared standing as DREEF cluster companies.
